Summit Program

Discover
  •  Models & Methodologies (M&Ms) that enable wildlife to find nutritious food and clean water, stay healthy, access mates and raise young, safely traverse land and waterways, and thrive in and around parks.
  • Existing and potential best practices in each sector that could be replicated widely in park gateways.
  •  Practitioners and theorists who present M&Ms at the Summit and contribute summaries for the eWorkbook.
  • Compelling photographers, filmmakers, artists and others who express wildlife values and challenges
Explore
  • M&Ms shared by presenters to identify their replicable or customizable features and best practices as moderators pose challenge questions in themed Workgroup Dialogues.
  • Historical accounts, photography and film, art language, and cultural expressions express human collaboration with wildlife
  • Actions composing the Tenets of Collaborating with Wildlife and the Four Pillars of Human Actions to Meet Wildlife Needs in Park Gateways.
Innovate
  • “Collaborative impact” mechanisms throughout the Summit spark contributions of expertise, talent and resources as practitioners plan and partner onsite and between CW Summits.
  • Workgroup Dialogue moderators challenge practitioners to acknowledge missing practices and strategize on innovations needed to fill gaps and overcome barriers.
  • Each Summit day wraps up with Panel Dialogues revealing Workgroup progress on defining best practices and next steps and advancing the Four Pillars and Tenets as CW concepts
