Models & Methodologies

The CW Summit invites Models & Methodologies from multiple sectors for the purpose of
identifying best practices for Collaborating with Wildlife and supporting their replication or customization across North America and the innovations needed to tackle barriers to adoption. Sectors involved in contributing to the four pillars of Collaborating with Wildlife are shown below

Models & Methodologies (M&Ms) are presented in the on-site Workgroups, which are organized by theme. M&Ms are summarized in an eWorkbook for use during and after the Summit. M&Ms may be based upon:

  • Species-focused NGO commitments 

  • Community-based initiatives

  • Tribal and First Nation cultural revitalization

  • Academic, laboratory and think-tank research

  • Government leadership and creativity

  • Corporate and industry innovation

  • Technological ingenuity

  • Multijurisdictional strategy

  • Responsible marketing and communications

  • Altruism, investment and philanthropy

  • Culture, Art, Photography, and Film

  • And more...
